You must have the file '.HELP' in the system folder to access the help files.

The Basic Command Sets

The Command Sets fall into Three Categories

1. DISPLAY Commands that print something on screen

2. SET Commands that allow you to set the values of certain aspects of the system or the current file

3. SHOW Commands that show you the parameters set with the SET command.

To use each command type in the command (or the first three letters e.g. SHO) and press return

The HELP command

The HELP command gives you information about the Synclavier Support Options. By typing HELP and then a command or topic you can learn about these options as you go.

HELP TERMINAL (learn how to use the terminal)

HELP MODULES (the software that runs the Synclavier)

HELP MONITOR (the READY > prompt program)

HELP PLAY (the command that starts the Real Time Program)

HELP CONTENTS (all available help listed)
